CLOSET ESSENTIALS FOR FALL

Here are some of my must-haves for fall!

1. Coats

Forever 21 Double-Breasted Parka
A good study coat that can withstand the chilly fall breeze! Must also have nice big pockets and a hood.  Bonus if it's waterproof and has inside pockets.

2. Boots

Lovely Wholesale Rain boots
It gets pretty wet where I live now, so waterproof boots are a must! They're great for keeping your feet dry while splashing around in puddles. Also good for biking in the rain.

3.Basic Tank/Cami or Graphic Tanks

Forever 21 No Thank You Tank

It may sound a little strange, but having a camisole or basic tank is important.  They can make great layering pieces for under shirts (even over if they are loose fitted).  And, I don't know about you, but throughout the day I can get hot (doing errands, walking to school, biking) so being able to take off layers is a must.

4. Leggings/Tights

Victoria's Secret Metallic-Striped Leggings

Although it's been getting colder, I prefer to wear leggings over jeans because they are light weight, easy to slap on, and I love lounging around the apartment in them.  They keep me warm and if I do get colder, I can wear tights underneath or add stalkings or leg warmers.

5. Cozy Beanie/hat

Urban Outfitters Fuzzy Beanie
Cozy beanies are nice for keeping your head and ears warm when you have to wait for the bus in the cold wind.  However. they don't really make good hoods since they can get pretty soaked in the rain.

6. Nude Undergarments

Nordstrom Nude Camisole

Just because it's getting colder, doesn't mean that you have to put away all your sheer tops! Just use nude undergarments or nude colored tanks/camis under your sheer tops.

7. Loose T-shirt/sweatshirt

Forever 21 Basic Jersey Shirt

Urban Outfitters Hooded Sweatshirt

These are great for throwing on when you're in a rush or just lounging around in.  Currently loving jersey and knit materials because they are super SOFTTTTTTT. And who doesn't like to feel soft and cozy?

What are your fall essentials?
